The company LAZARE PAMBO was founded in 2011 by Mr. Herman Vollenbroek, a retired employee of Shell Gabon, whose purpose is to offer small scale industrial and tourist services by Gabonese youngsters, originating from the equatorial forest in Gabon in Central Africa.
The head office is located in the Pitonga village, in the Ogoue Maritime province, at one hour by boat from Gamba, bordering on the Ndogo Lagoon. The village lies opposite Ngale Island, the land of the old mission Saint Benoît Labre, which was founded in 1890 by the missionaries of the Saint Esprit congregation.
The company is still in creation. Currently, august 2011, the only services that are available are Supply of Wood and Furniture Making. At the end of 2011 the tourist site «Lazare Pambo» will be open for tourists.
Until then, the company can offer you picnics, provisional lodging, hunting and fishing tours, visits to plantations, palm wine production sites and site seeing tours around the village Pitonga.
